In the 1960’s, my mother would buy a white pair of Buster Brown shoes for brother and me in the spring, at Easter time. She would dye them black for the fall and winter months.

When I was a little girl, my mom bought me a pair of Buster Brown brown oxfords with shoe laces. I hated them because I wanted something more feminine.
I slid down a cement drainage by the side of the highway to wear them out. After my dad noticed the holes in the soles, he thought Buster Brown’s were not all that good. Sorry, but it all led to a pair of shoes that I really liked.

A great memory. Actually if you search online for “Buster Brown sandals,” you’ll find sandals that are new but similar. You will also see old used pairs of sandals that people are re-selling!

I bought my children Buster Brown shoes for years. In the summer I bought them and myself sandals. I was wondering if you still make the sandals? I would like a white pair and a brown pair. If you still make them I would like like to know where to order them.

This article was so interesting.I to wore Buster Brown’s,I loved going to the store and then the employee would let me wear them out,It was so exciting.Loved the 70’s and loved me some Buster Brown’s.
