BTW, I noticed that you mentioned William H. Tipton in your article. Tipton had a small amusement park of sorts at the foot of Little Round Top next to Devil’s Den. Visitors could take a trolley there, have their photo taken, buy souvenirs and enjoy refreshments. There was even a dancing pavilion!
